Israeli forces opened fire with their heavy machine gun on farmers south the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said Sunday that Israeli troops, deployed at a military guard tower on the borderline with the Gaza Strip, opened sporadic fire on farmers in Karara town, northeastern Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

No casualties were reported, the sources added.
