Israeli forces arrest a Palestinian woman during clashes in the old city of al-Quds

Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday raided the African countryside area located in the vicinity of Al Aqsa Mosque and stormed the residents' houses there, Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.

The occupation forces frightened women and children during their search operation for Palestinian young men who, they alleged, threw stones at Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, Jewish settlers on Wednesday renewed storming of Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli police.

The settlers, backed by Israeli female soldiers wearing their uniforms, entered from Al Magharba Gate and provocatively toured Islam's third holiest site.

The Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian woman near Damascus Gate and took her to a detention center in Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem).

Under the pretext of building without a permit, the Israeli municipality of Jerusalem demolished later two houses in Beit Hanina neighborhood, according to local sources.

The municipality says it intends to demolish hundreds of Palestinian homes built without a permit in the occupied east section of the city.
