Gaza - KUNA
At least ten people were killed and 30 others wounded by an Israeli air strike Sunday on a UN-run school in the southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The targeted school, run by the UN Reliefs and Works Agency (UNRWA), was sheltering over 3,000 people who fled their homes in southern areas of the besieged Gaza Strip. The corpses and wounded people were transferred to the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah city, medical sources in Gaza said.
The four-week Israeli aggression on the strip has left so far over 1,750 people dead, including 398 children, 207 women and 74 old persons, and at least 10,000 others wounded, including 2,744 children, 1,750 women and girls and 343 elderly, according to the sources.
