Israeli jets launched two air raids Thursday on resistance sites in northern and central the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket shelling in northern Israel.

The first raid was carried out by an F 16 plane on Jabalia city in the enclave, local sources said, adding that no injuries were reported.

The second raid targeted el Birj camp in central the enclave and caused material damage, the sources said.
