The Israeli occupation forces closed on Thursday a road leading to Beit Iksa village northwest of occupied East Jerusalem, and arrested three Palestinians.

The forces seized a truck and nabbed its driver along with a villager, witnesses said.

Meantime, another Palestinian was arrested when the occupation forces used gunfire to stop his car in the town of al-Eizariya, east of East Jerusalem.

In a statement, Israeli authorities claimed that the driver was trying to storm a checkpoint.
