Israeli occupation forces open fire at farmers in southern Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation forces on Sunday opened heavy machine gun fire at Palestinian farmers in southern Gaza Strip, with no injuries reported.

Local sources said the Israeli occupation forces stationed at the military towers established on the border fence with the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupants also targeted the Palestinian farmers in eastern Khan Yunis, forcing them to leave their farmlands.

Israeli forces routinely open fire at Palestinian fishermen and farmers in flagrant violation of the calm agreement reached on August 26, 2014 to end Israel’s summer aggression on Gaza that claimed the lives of over 2,200 people, mostly children and women.
