Israeli occupation forces on Monday opened machine gun fire at Palestinian fishing boats off northern Gaza shores.

Local sources said Israeli gunboats opened random fire at Palestinian fishing boats off Beit Lahia shores, forcing fishermen to flee the sea.

The shooting did not cause any injuries.

Gaza fishermen have been reporting daily attacks by Israeli Naval Forces since the beginning of the truce last year. These attacks include shelling and detentions.
