Israeli occupation forces siege Essawiyah town, arrest 3 Palestinians

Israeli occupation forces on Monday continued their siege of Essawiyah town in central the occupied city of al Quds and set up security checkpoints on its main entrances.

A member of the follow-up committee of the town Raed Abu Riyalah said the Israeli military campaign aimed at banning the organizers of a ceremony to welcome the liberation of two Palestinian prisoner Nemr Nasser and Mohammad Derbas.

He also said the Israeli occupants are chasing out the residents of the town in a bid to isolate it from the city of Al Quds.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces handed over notices of demolition to owners of five Palestinian houses in Azeriyiah town in eastern Al Quds.

In this context, Israeli soldiers detained three Palestinians from various areas of Al Quds and led them to detention centers.
