Israeli occupation forces opened fire at boats of Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza shores on Friday morning.

The attack came randomly from Israeli gunboats off Khan Yunis and Rafah in southern Gaza and the northern Beit Lahia, local sources said, asserting that the fishermen were fishing in non-prohibited areas.

The fishermen were forced to return to the shores, the sources added, noting that no injuries were reported.
