A number of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem at the Mughrabi Gate under tight protection of Israeli special units. 
They tried to perform Talmudic rituals in the courtyard of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque. 
 This comes one day after violent clashes broke out between Jewish extremists and Palestinian citizens in several neighborhoods of Jerusalem, especially near Bab Alqtanin and Al Asbat Gate, preventing settlers from performing their provocative rituals.
