Scores of Jewish-Israeli settlers on Sunday stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, under the protection of Israeli forces, Palestinian sources said. 
"A group of settlers provocatively roamed the courtyard of the mosque this morning," al-Aqsa and Jerusalem Affairs Centre said. "They were protected by Israeli forces." Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians from the governorates of Ramallah and Hebron.
