Al-Aqsa mosque

A group of Jewish settlers on Monday stormed the precincts of Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli guards to mark a Jewish holiday.

Worshipers at the holy mosque chanted "God is Great" to confront the Jewish storming attempt.

A number of Jewish organizations have made calls to organize Jewish events in the holy city of Al Quds over the coming week.

The attempt coincides with Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights or the eight-day festival of light that begins on the eve of the 25th of the Jewish month of Kislev and celebrates the triumph of light over darkness.
