Israeli extremist settlers, who were guarded by Israeli forces, stormed into Al Aqsa Mosque on Sunday. 

Eyewitnesses said the extremist settlers pushed deep into the holy mosque from Bab el Maghreba gate.

Worshipers and scholars at the mosque challenged the attackers to ban them from entering the holy site.
