Israeli settlers storm into al Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday to mark Yom Kippur, while banning Muslims under 40 years to pray inside the holy shrine.

As Muslims mark the holy day of Arafat, a large number of Jerusalemites were obliged to pray in streets.

Israeli forces have imposed a tight military siege on East Jerusalem since Tuesday.
