Building highway connecting Israeli settlements

A group of Jewish settlers on Tuesday took over three buildings comprising ten residential units in Beydoun neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of owning it, according to Palestinian sources.
The sources said that the settlers, backed by Israeli police and border guards, stormed the buildings amid violent clashes with its residents who were expelled from their homes.
"The area is still gripped by tension amid a spread of Israeli forces and public gathering," the sources added.
