Israeli police on Thursday closed Al Aqsa mosque to worshipers after dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the mosque to commemorate the first death anniversary of an Israeli girl.
Last year, a Palestinian youth entered an Israeli family home and stabbed to death Hallel Yaffe Ariel, a 13-year-old Israeli girl holding US and Israeli citizenship.
Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Uri Ariel on Wednesday called on Israeli settlers to storm Al Aqsa Mosque in commemoration of Ariel, who was killed last year at an Israeli settlement in Hebron city.
