Israeli troops opened fire at a number of Palestinian farmers in eastern Gaza early Monday.

No word of injuries was reported.

Troops deployed at control towers on the borderline near Nahal Oz terminal targeted a number of Palestinian farmers, who were on their way to their agricultural lands, and forced them away, local sources said.
