North Korea threatened Sunday to carry out new nuclear tests after receiving condemnation this week by the UN Security Council for its recent missile launches, dpa reported. In a statement published by the state-run media, the North Korean Foreign Ministry in Pyongyang said it could not exclude a "new form of nuclear test" to strengthen its nuclear deterrence. On Thursday, the members of the UN Security Council in an emergency meeting condemned recent missile launches by North Korea as violations of UN sanctions.
