The Palestinian Foreign Ministry castigated at Israel's racist settlement policy as a declaration of war on the two-state solution and a clear-cut rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said this is an unprecedented challenge of the legitimate international resolutions, including Resolution 2334.
Resolution 2334 states that Israel's settlement activity constitutes a "flagrant violation" of international law and has "no legal validity". It demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Under the current deteriorating conditions, the Palestinians can do nothing except defending their rights as the international community deliberately turns a deaf ear to the Palestinian issues.
