Ramallah - Arab Today
Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Thursday warned of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "theses for normalization," which claim the development of relations with the Arabs.
Netanyahu constantly insists that the Israeli-Arab relations were developed after the emergence of common enemies threatening all parties and the promotion of the existence of a revolution in Israel's relations with important Arab states after they have realized that Israel is not their enemy, the Ministry said in a statement carried by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
The Ministry also warned that Netanyahu claims that the normalization and development of relations with the Arab world could help Israel to progress towards achieving stable peace with the Palestinians, stressing his keenness to spread political messages through such claims.
At the internal level, Netanyahu seeks to show successful diplomatic achievements and that his government does not suffer from any isolation despite the deadlock prevailing in the peace process. While he looks at the international level to promote the idea that resuming Palestinian-Israeli negotiations could be possible through the regional gateway in order to cut the road to international peace efforts, added the statement
