The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement on Sunday blamed the Israeli authorities on the medical condition of one of its top leaders who is imprisoned in an Israeli jail.
Sheikh Khedr Adnan, 37 yeas old, entered an open-ended hunger strike 55 days ago in protest against his detention without trial or accusation.
In statements late on Sunday, a top official of the movement said that Israel holds the full responsibility of Adnan's life.
