Governor of South Kordofan State Ahmed Haroun has confirmed the stability of the security situation in the state and the defeat of rebels, noting that the citizens of the state stood firmly against the insurgency and the war to support the peace process, stability and development. In a statement aired today over Radio Sudan Haroun said \"Sudan will not allow the rebels to enforce their designs of sabotage to stop the wheel of development and construction, and to threaten the security and stability of citizens, pointing out that the movements of the rebels and support they receive from abroad is being accurately monitored. He accused the State of South Sudan of \"involvement\" in all attempts of destabilization. \"There are established evidence that it groups all the rebels against Sudan, which will not tolerate such violations. He described the attack on the area of Al-Abyadh as a state attack in which all types of weapons were used. Haroun said the policy of Sudan now is self-defense, warning that all options are open at any later stage, and \'\'we have the capacity to make effective movements through the Sudanese army\'s good knowledge of these areas and the long experience acquired in dealing with such situations \". On the humanitarian issue in South Kordofan, Haroun said there is no possibility of the return of foreign organizations in the field of humanitarian work in the old way which he said led to the prolongation of war and conflict.
