Jewish settlers, guarded by Israeli special forces, renewed on Sunday storming of Al Aqsa Mosque

Jewish settlers, guarded by Israeli special forces, renewed on Sunday storming of Al Aqsa Mosque from Bab el Magharba, Palestinian sources said.

Around 40 settlers, including the hardliner who tried to explode Dome of the Rock in 1982, barged into the holy compound.

The settlers tried to perform Talmudic rituals but were prevented by worshipers.

Extremist Israeli settlers have been violating the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque on an almost daily basis and under the protection of armed occupation forces who often attack Palestinian worshipers who try to protect their holy site.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site in Islam.
