A South Korean consul general testified before parliament Friday about allegations the prosecution used fake documents as evidence to charge a former civil servant with spying for North Korea, saying he was unsure of the exact source of the documents. Cho Baek-sang, the chief of the South Korean consulate in China's northeastern city of Shenyang, made the remarks during a meeting of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs and unification, after he was asked to visit Seoul to give a testimony.
