South Korea and the United States finished their Key Resolve exercise on Thursday that prompted North Korea to fire missiles in a show of force, turning inter-Korean relations sour. The Foal Eagle combined field training contiues until April 18. The two-week war game began on Feb. 24 to test the allies' readiness and enhance their defense posture involving some 10,000 South Korean and 5,200 U.S. forces, despite Pyongyang's repeated calls to stop the exercise which it considers to be a rehearsal for war.
