Settlers storm Al Aqsa mosque again

Groups of extremist settlers, backed by Israeli forces, broke into Al Aqsa mosque compound through Bab Al Maghareba on Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses said settlers carried out provocative tours into the compound in a bid to perform their Talmudic prayers but they were intercepted by worshipers who chanted slogans against repeated storming.

Tension has been running high in occupied East Jerusalem in light of stepped up attacks against the holy mosque by Israeli extremists.

The storming is part of an Israeli plan to Judaize the mosque and divide it between Muslims and Jews.
