A Palestinian woman who allegedly sought to carry out a stabbing attack near an Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday was shot, the Israeli military and police said.

Israeli authorities did not immediately provide further details on the alleged attacker or whom she sought to stab at a crossing near the Einav settlement. It was the second attempted stabbing of the day in the West Bank.
