The Security forces foiled an attempt by two suicide bombers early Saturday to attack Sheikh Zuweid police station, North Sinai, read a statement by the Interior Ministry.
Two booby-trapped pickup vehicles were remotely detonated before colliding with the station, the statement said.
Drivers of the two cars were killed in the explosion, while an officer and a conscript were injured, the ministry added.
