A drone that crashed on a South Korean border island, if confirmed to belong to the North Korean military, would show the secretive nation's relevant technology remains rudimentary, according to U.S. experts. South Korea is conducting a probe into the drone that fell on Baengnyeong Island, just south of the disputed western sea border between the two Koreas. It was found Monday afternoon (local time), shortly after the North's live-fire artillery drills.
