Pro-Russian separatists

At least five soldiers were killed and 25 injured over the past 24 hours in eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian Security Council said Monday.
The council said pro-Russian separatists had broken the ceasefire numerous times already. German news agency DPA reported today that Defense Ministry spokesman Vladislav Seleznyov said most of the shots (88) were fired in the town of Debaltseve and that the military will not give up the strategic rail hub.
Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin chaired the Russian Security Council's meeting to discuss developments in South-East Ukraine according to Russian news agency Itar-Tass. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
