Kathmandu - QNA
Ten people were killed late Saturday in central Nepal when a passenger bus plunged into a river, police said. A child was among those killed when the bus skidded off a bridge into the Madhi River in Damauli, 150 kilometres west of Kathmandu. Police said 10 people were rescued with injuries and the remaining 15 on board were missing, dpa reported. Security personnel with the help of local residents were conducting rescue operations, but they said darkness and rising water level due to rainfall made the search difficult.
