17 soldiers wounded in explosion in southeastern Turkey

The Turkish Army said on Monday 17 soldiers were wounded when a home-made explosive charge went off in southeastern the country, ABC news network reported. 

The explosion took place near Yuksekova town in Hakkari district where the injured were taken to hospital, a statement by the army said. 

Four among the wounded were in a critical condition, the statement added.

No party has claimed its responsibility for the attack so far.
