A man had been stabbed to death and another wounded in Sydney\'s west, the New South Wales Police confirmed on Thursday.Police were called to a unit on The Crescent at Berala around 2 a.m. (local time) on Thursday following reports of a disturbance.They found two men with stab wounds.Police said the men were taken to Westmead Hospital, where one of them died a short time later.A third man was arrested at the unit.The 36-year-old Berala man has been taken to Auburn Police Station for questioning.\"A man continues to assist with inquiries following a fatal stabbing at Berala, in Sydney\'s west, overnight,\" police said in a statement.\"He is an Iranian citizen who was born in Afghanistan.\"Neighbors have reported hearing screaming and arguing before police arrived at the unit, according to local media reports.A crime scene was established in the area and investigations into the incident continue.
