2 Coal miners dead, 9 missing after floods in China

 At least two persons were killed and nine others missing days after a coal mine they were working in was flooded in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, according to The Indian Express. 
The accident took place on Monday at Zhaojin Coal Mine in Yaozhou District when 67 workers were in the shaft, 56 of them managed to escape and 11 were missing. 
On Tuesday, Chinese Xinhua news agency reported that rescuers were pumping out water in the quest to free 11 coal miners trapped in a flooded colliery in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, adding that the cause of the accident is still not known.
