Three people were killed when hit by a train in the southern French city of Marseille, radio France Info reported Saturday. The accident occurred around 6:10 p.m. (1710 GMT) when the TER was leaving the station of St. Joseph in the direction of Aix-en-Provence. It clashed with the three victims, a girl and her parents, who were on the rail road at the time of tragedy, according to French railway company SNCF. Police sources indicated that the victims is from a Romanian family, the man and the woman were in their thirties, with their five-year-old girl. Police department has opened an investigation into the accident.
