Six workers were killed Saturday morning at a railway station in central China's Henan Province, local railway authorities have said.

A freight train crashed into six people working on the rails at 9:42 a.m. at Anyang Railway Station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, according to Zhengzhou Railway Bureau.

Two of the victims were employees of the railway bureau while the other four were migrant workers.

An investigation is underway.
