A small passenger plane with reportedly two persons on board crashed over a mountainous terrain in Papua region in Indonesia. According to the chief of search and rescue authority in the provincial capital, a small Pac 750XL plane operated by a Christian missionary organization went missing last Wednesday as it was performing a missionary flight. Rescue workers rushed to the location amidst severe weather conditions. The fate of the pilot and passenger remains unknown. The Indonesian region of Papua where numerous plane crashed were reported is covered with thick tropical forests and are accessible only by plane.
