At least 16 people were killed and four others injured in a warehouse fire in northeastern Moscow, local media reported on Saturday.

The injured have been hospitalized, while 12 people were rescued, the RIA Novosti news agency said, citing an unnamed source.

A criminal investigation is underway by the Russian authorities.
