Seven people were killed and nearly 80 others were wounded in a tragic bus accident on Wednesday in an eastern Pakistani district, said police. A Karachi-bound bus collided with a Peshawar-bound bus in Dera Ghazi Khan district of Punjab Province, local media said, citing police and rescuers. The reports said that the buses were jammed-packed and that the accident occurred due to over-speeding. Reports said that several of the wounded were in critical condition.
