Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Temir Jumakadyrov has died on Saturday in a car crash near Bishkek.
His driver and his assistant were killed in the collision as well, Russia Today channel reported, quoting a statement by the Kyrgyz government.
Jumakadyrov was assigned in the government to supervise security affairs.
He has been also tasked by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sapar Isakov with overseeing preparations for an October 15 presidential vote.
He had been the former chief of Kyrgyz Security Council before being appointed as Kyrgyz deputy prime minister on August 26.
