65 people were killed and 100 others were injured as a result of an explosion at a factory in eastern China, official media outlets said.

State-run China Central Television (CCTV) said the explosion had happened in a metals’ workshop in Kunshan, a city in the eastern province of Jiangsu near Shanghai, adding that the cause of the incident has not been identified yet.
