Torrential rain killed 13 people in capital Kabul of Afghanistan on Saturday. Security chief of Kabul Eyup Salengi said that this had been the heaviest rainfall of past month in Kabul, adding that 13 people were killed due to flood and the traffic accidents caused by floodwaters. Many houses and workplaces were devastated due to the flood, said provincial sources. Last week, Surobi district of Kabul had been submerged due to excessive rain and more than 100 people had been killed.
