International coalition carries out 27 air strikes against Daesh in Syria, Iraq

The US-led international coalition launched 27 air strikes against Daesh terrorist group in Syria and Iraq.

The troops carried out 18 air strikes in Syria via remotely piloted aircraft near Dayr Az Zawr, Manbij and Palmyra, the Pentagon quoted a statement by the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials as saying. 

During the raids, 15 tactical units, 15 oil tanks, eight fighting units and a booby-trapped vehicle were targeted.

In Iraq, the forces implemented nine air raids coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government via drone jets near Baghdadi, Hit, Mosul, Qayyarah, Ramadi, Sultan Abdallah.

During the raids, 27 rocket launchers, three fighting units and three tactical units were damaged.
