A city official says a passenger bus has plunged into a canyon on the outskirts of Mexico City, killing at least 14 people and leaving more than 20 hurt. According to AP, the accident occurred Friday morning on a highway in the municipality of Naucalpan, a part of the State of Mexico neighboring the capital. The official says the bus fell at least 130 feet (40 meters) down the slope from the winding highway. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to release the information.
