NATO warplanes in the last 24 hours hit and destroyed several military targets of the pro-Gaddafi forces in the vicinity of Sirte,NATO said in a statement issued here on Friday . The tragets hit included one military storage facility, two armed vehicles, one tank, four multiple rocket launchers and eight air missile systems. Elsewhere, NATO said that its planes in the vicinity of Waddan: destroyed one multiple rocket launcher. and in the vicinity of Sebha several armoured vehicles, one multiple rocket launcher, one Tank, and five armed vehicles. Since the beginning of the NATO operation over Libya on 31 March NATO planes have flown a total of 22,817 sorties, including 8,560 strike sorties.
