The population of Nepal has climbed to 26.4 million, according to national census report published on Monday. Nepali population increased by 1.35 percent in the last decade, the data read. Like earlier census data, this time women have overnumbered men. Nepali female population accounts for 52.5 percent while male 47.5 percent, and 60 percent of women are married under the age of 19, the data read.
