A Lebanese soldier was killed and three others injured in a booby-trapped mine explosion.

“The bomb exploded as they were attempting to deactivate the device in Mahallat Wadi Al-Khashn in Jroud Ersal”, said the Lebanese Army in a statement posted on the National News Agency.
