Pakistani Taliban claimed Monday the responsibility of the suicide attack which killed and wounded hundreds of people in a crowded park in Lahore city on Sunday. 
"We carried out the Lahore attack as Christians are our target," spokesman for the hardline Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Ehsanullah Ehsan said. 
Meanwhile, the death toll from the suicide bombing rose to 72.
