A power transmission tower collapsed in northern India, killing five migrant workers and injuring 11 others, officials said. About 125 laborers were working on two towers in the village of Sikrawa when one of the towers collapsed Thursday, the Indo-Asian News Service reported. Three workers died at the scene and two others died after they were transported to a local hospital. Those who were injured in the incident have been admitted to a government hospital in Nuh, officials said. The project manager and site engineers at the towers have been taken into custody and face charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and common intent.
