Angry crowds in Jos central Nigeria have killed six Muslims following a suicide attack targeting a church, the Red Cross in Nigeria indicated. Protesters took over the streets following the attack which killed three, one of them the bomber, and wounded five others. Christian youth set barriers on some roads before the police separated them. In another attack, five gunmen opened fire inside a church in Tabra village northeast Nigeria leaving one woman dead. The extremist Boko Haram group has claimed responsibility for the two attacks and another group claimed an attack on a church last week which left 12 dead. Attacks conducted by Boko Haram have killed over 1000 since mid-2009, specially in the predominantly Muslim north. The group, which also targets security forces, is suspected to be linked to al-Qaeda. In Rome, Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi condemned the violence, indicating that the information he received presents great sorrow and discontent. He reiterated Italy\'s highest levels of commitment with security and promoting freedom of belief as well as its persistence in confronting terrorism.
